Love this! I'd love to see Kevin Eubanks live. The first time I heard his artistry was in the early 90s when a late night radio dj played the track "Cookin'" from "The Searcher" album, I was hooked from then on buying every album before and most after. He is an exceptional artist.

I always said it growing up: Kevin Eubanks is extremely underrated. Jay Leno was nice exposure for him, but Leno’s late night crowd 99% of the time didn’t look past that. He really doesn’t get the credit he deserves. He’s amazing!

I agree. Phenomenal guitarist! The first time I heard him play was on his "Opening Night" album. When I put the needle down on the title track with him and Branford Marsalis masterfully executing the song's head... Right then and there I knew he was a cut above most.

I mainly know Kevin Eubanks from the Tonight Show with Jay Leno with his hilarious laugh. My favorite song of his is Eyes of A Lost Child. He is a legend in more ways than one.

Yes Sirr... VH1 New Visions but it was actually late fall of 1987. I was taken by it too bruh. And you're right, people are still diggin' it today.
