That cousin thing happens more than people realize. My ex would always get questioned about being with white woman and not another Native American , his response was most of them are related and don't even know. I worked with a girl that was messing with a married man, by marriage she was related to my ex (the wife) I happened to have pointed the side girl out and the husband that is cheating to my ex mother in law but at separate times and she told me the side girl and the husband was related to them (my exs family). Apparently unbeknownst to all 3 of them they was either 1st or second cousins. The wife and husband was 2nd cousins. The side chick and the husband were 1st and didn't know it. The side girl got knocked up and my dumbass said do you think it's smart to have a baby with your cousin especially being that close in relation? She didn't know they was cousins. Her mom passed and he was related to her by his mom. I felt like an ass. P.s. they didn't work out but the baby is like 5 now and is okay.
