I’m a massive longtime Icedogs fan and something that not a lot of people talk about with this guy is how incredibly well he gets himself out of bad situations. There was a play last year where he was on a 1 on 2 trying cut to the middle through the outside. He got very hooked, like blade of the stick under his armpit and yanked back. But instead of losing the puck or going down, he used that hook to slingshot himself past the 2 defenders and drive to the net to score! He has such a unique way of getting out tough or weird situations that leads to points and opportunities! Winnipeg has a REAL gifted talented player in Kevin He! He’s already improved from things you guys have mentioned in the weak segment of him. If he continues to play like this, I have 0 doubt the Jets will sign him by the end of the year!

I really enjoyed the show Connor and Lyss. You mentioned Kevin He is the first Ice Dogs player drafted in several years. His hot 2024-2025 OHL season start hints to me that Kevin He has benefitted from the assumably better coaching he received at the Jets development camp over the summer. Hopefully his positional play will continue to improve with more time with Winnipeg Jets coaches next summer, and he'll turn into an even bigger 4th round draft steal. Watching his highlights clips from the 2023-2024 OHL season immediately after the draft I was very impressed by his quality 5 on 5 scoring (something not comparatively as present in Brayden Yager highlights clips)

Awesome show, Connor and Lyss! Really fascinated to continue to watch Kevin He develop into the full player he will be in the coming years and this is a great resource to look back at to see his development progress along the way. :)

HE Shoots, HE Scores!🎉🎉🎉 Love to watch him playing!

Good breakdown, potentially he adds some elements that the Jets have a need for. If Kevn He can be a winger that scores AND plays with an edge and attacks on the forecheck well yes please to that.

I've never had any "literally me" moments in life. But kevin is "literally me". We have the same last name, we were both born in Beijing, China, we both wear number 11, we're both 18. What more, my cousin's name is kevin he too.
