I just watched a short on YT. The host of the short walked up to a man and asked how much rent he paid each month. The man said that he didn't pay rent as he owns his home, which he paid 0ne million pounds for. The short was a tour of this very castle !! I didn't know about this channel before I read in the comment section of the short that said in multiple comments that this tiny castle was on this channel, so here I am !! This is in Buckinghamshire about 5 miles from Aylesbury ,heading out towards Thame . Really surprised that it's been restored ,it was falling to bits ,was full of empty cans ,bottles syringes ,foil . It was literally split into two ,it must have cost an absolute fortune to restore .

Took some photographs of this place not long before it was rebuild. It was dark and snowing and suddenly felt like I was being watched from behind broken walls inside, so I left! (Too many episodes of Hammer House of Horrors as a young lad methinks) lol

Fantastic job! In all fairness, as long as they used identical materials and style, I can't see any logical reason for them not being allowed to extend it - *if* they wished to do so, that is. Their workmanship is after all a set precedent.

I live near this and it is a lovely landmark. There’s only one problem which is surely why they were unable to sell it...it’s very close to a busy road (the A418 from Aylesbury to Thame). Horrifically noisy. They cleverly omitted that detail on Grand Designs and pointed the camera across the lovely open fields to the North.

I love the castles meant for giants and how there is extra floors to the castle buried beneath the earth from the last mud flood reset. Just amazing. Our smaller sized people definitely didn't build these with the tech we had with our horses and buggies 🤣🤣🤣
