Something to think about with Buffett's Apple position: Apple's stock did really well in 2024, which would've caused Buffett's position in it to become a much larger chunk of his overall portfolio than it originally was. So there's a good chance that the reason he sold that much Apple stock was simply to rebalance his portfolio. That's what regular people do every year: If you have a 60/40 stock-to-bond split, and then the stock market does really well and shifts your ratios up to 70/30, you'd rebalance by selling off 10% of those stocks to get it back to the 60/40 split. Possibly the same thing is happening with Buffett and Apple.
