To me these are the type of stories I love to hear, just the whole logistics of traveling from town to town and how the whole road schedule basically worked. I'm sure not everybody did the same routine but it sounds like most guys would drive to the next town right after the show, get to said town around 2 or 3, "sleep" till 9 or 10, then hit the gym, eat and get to the arena around 3-4(earlier for TV tapings). Then repeat the process the again. Had to be brutal. Personally I think I'd rather stay in the town I worked at for the night then head to the next town around 10 in the morning, get there at 1 ish, check in, grab something to eat, get a quick workout in and head to the arena. Either way like I said finding out more about how their actual schedule worked is what really fascinates me, instead of just hearing the "being on the road for 300 days", like I'd like to actually hear how the typical day and travel was like.
