That bent billiard is a nice pipe by the Charatan pipe co., probably vintage about 1970, They at one time made pipes on a par with Dunhill and later in the 70's (I believe) were purchased by Dunhill. Glad you are enjoying the Rapparee, originally blended in Perth Scotland but now blended in Germany.Along with STG in Denmark, almost all blends are now made in those two countries except of course Cornell and Diehl still blended in the Carolinas. Hope you can make the club on the 28th.

Hi Tom, I can relate to those vehicle issues…was visiting family in Memphis at Thanksgiving and had to have the AC compressor replaced b4 leaving to head home to Wisconsin…I was at the mercy of a dealership to get me back on the road…needless to say it was a bit expensive…if I had the time, I would have just made a deal and traded up to a newer vehicle but that was not possible. Oh well…life goes on. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year Tom. 👍😀
