Actually he can potentially get in trouble. Vince has guys that watch all these interviews, talk shows, etc. However, Kevin should be safe, it was an honest mistake. Vince might actually prevent his wrestlers from interviewing with this channel again because the interviewer brought up All In and Cody and all them guys. I’m pretty sure Vince doesn’t want anyone in his company to mention them.

After listening to so many podcasts and reading some many books and interviews from ex-WWE employees, it wouldn't surprise me if there's some citation in a WWE contract that specifically prohibits them from mentioning Chris Benoit. I'm happy that people do though. I don't think there should be such a stigma around his name. The truth is that none of us will ever know what happened on that day; but one thing we all know for sure is that Chris Benoit was one of the best wrestlers of all time. Even Vince himself said in an interview for WWE Magazine in 2009, 2 years after the fact, that "It's not right to pretend he didn't exist. It's one thing to include him as part of a historical perspective, which I believe is OK, and it's another thing to promote him, which is not OK. " which I think is perfectly reasonable. We're not looking for promotion or advertisement, I just think that, for those of us who grew up watching Benoit and were big fans of his, we're tired of hearing things like "Only 2 men have won the Royal Rumble from entry number one, and one of them was the legendary Shawn Michaels", because if you're not going to even say something to the tune of "the late Chris Benoit", then why mention it anyway? The same with seeing clips of Randy Orton winning the World Heavyweight Championship at SummerSlam 2004. That was a monumental match that determined so much. It's chaos theory. Let's say that match never happened. The past 14 years in WWE would have been drastically different. Nevertheless, this was a great interview and despite not being the biggest fan of Kevin Owens as a TV character, the man behind it all seems like a true gentleman, a die-hard fan of professional wrestling (which is quite uncommon now considering most just want to be 'superstars'), and someone I could listen to for hours. I think so involved in a squash match at Summerslam against Braun? Owens has been an important character for both Raw and Smackdown in the past. Since rejoining Raw though, they haven't done anything good with him. Owens doesn't necessarily need a title, but he could and should be a more productive member of the roster.
