After watching the Hours 7 times in the last week, I was searching for more Kevin Puts music. This is lovely.

Wonderful piece--lively, joyful. I love the clapping in the last movement, and the use in mvt. 2 of Mozart's Piano Concerto no. 21.

Love this flute concerto. It has a massive orchestra Glad that there are new classical compositions. I will buy this album that also has his symphony 2. His second is a memorial of 9/11 and very fitting. Sad but beautiful. I think of the solo parts representing single lives of people that ended their earthly life that day. I will watch for more Kevin Puts recordings

It is an Andrew Wyeth painting dated 1986 and titled "Flood Plain". There is an entry in Wikipedia devoted exclusively to this painting. Kevin Puts's goal appears to be to show how many (mainly American) composers he can thieve from and get away with it. Having listened to a lot of his music I have yet to hear anything original. No actual style.
