One of the machines he was operating failed and his spine got crushed. He spent two weeks in a coma. His entire crew are men building roads here in hot AZ (130 degrees when working with hot roads). KS is 100% right. We take the risk and don't want our contributions dismissed and ignored. Also, most truck drivers are guys, warehouse workers, police and firefighters, construction and engineers too. Kevin is right. I went to a notoriously tough university. Pretty much every program was grueling. The vast majority of guys I went to school with had very little luck with women. I'm sure there were quite a few that didn't even get a date. And they weren't socially awkward, or slobs, or eccentric. They were guys that mostly looked about average (that's how the distribution curve works) with way above average intelligence AND determination. Today I am connected with many of them on LinkedIn and the vast majority have been very successful. The smartest one of all of them had one, very negative, negative relationship in university. At 32 he was CFO of a major telecommunications company. At 40 he was CFO of a bigger company, owned two houses in Toronto, and a beautiful cottage. Think of all the idiots that sneered at him.
