I was raised on Kevin Smith’s movies. One day, Kevin slid into my DMs and now we get to hang out and talk about Star Wars. He’s my guest on Logically Speaking Ep 3 and inspired the f out of me like he always does. Go watch and let me know what you think!

Glad Kevin is getting through his mental health issues. Hope he uses it to fuel more great writing. Seeing Randal work through similar issues along with the stress and demand of running his business after the death of his best friend, survivor's guilt, mid-life crisis, etc. could make a great story. And thd title "Clerk" would hit really hard.

Literally the comment Logic made about "Rap's Mount Rushmore", is one of the biggest examples for why he should be in that conversation. To be fair, the rappers who are considered to be apart of it also openly claim to be. Thinking you're the greatest is usually a key trait, but being humble seems more deserving. Regardless, Logic has already carved out an incredible legacy, and this podcast has just blown me away.

This will be long, but I'd like to open up to Bobby & Kevin. That feeling of "I ain't shit". Boy, can I agree with this. Since grade school I could remember saying this to myself. Wondering if I was ever good enough or what I would need to achieve to feel satisfied. As a young kid, I did the dumbest shit to feel accepted in my neighborhood. I had amazing parents, but having the disconnect of other peoples backgrounds really set me back. Going through middle/high school I always wore my feeling on my sleeves and expressed how I felt and was bullied/judged for it. Others bottle it up. When I joined the service. That's when it all clicked. I was with other men and women from all background. Breaking us down through training made us all human and realize we all think we ain't shit. It's a game chasing success. It's best to keep it simple. If you're alive, it's a success. If you have your family and friends, it's a success. If you believe you ain't shit, that's a success to be humble. Those who claim their success, they just quit being humble. Some realize it. Some carry on thinking they are the shit while everyone humble around them is miserable. They keep other "Successful" people around them. Which creates a tornado of ego's and narcissism. Success is understanding you're not the center of the universe. Love yall!

Hey Bobby you inspired me to get in to music, I've been a big fan of yours for a long time and the words of Kevin resonate with me, from your music I went on to better myself and look to do more things for myself... one of which is guitar... I'm 28 and I've always talked myself down saying I have no rhythm and no natural talent but when I put my mind to it I have become proud of my achievement, although its an endless journey, its a release for me in tough times and an ever flowing passion that I never lose inspiration for and it's that love for music that helps me love myself that bit better :D both yourself and Kevin are exceptional people 💜 much love

SMH! What a great conversation! Idk if u realize what i'll point here, Logic but beyond you gaving us knowledge and the most important: bringing the awakening of conscience, you're ALSO helping guys like me (which English isnt the first language), to improve the language. I say this 'cause is so hard to get the lyrics (without reading) on albums which also bring us a lot of knowledge. Im so thankful to you to be improving my English skill with a lot of knowledge besides of it (to be verb at classes sucks). Thank you so much Master Kevin, to share your words, my mind is exploding after learned a lot with you in this episode, im going to watch it again.. Im high and dreaming about how amazing would be a Logically Speaking Podcast feat. Mac Miller. IDK if they would accept but please bring some of the goats in rap to some episode: Marshall Mathers, Nasir Jones, Lauryn Hill, Andre Young, Andre 3000, Q-Tip, Shawn Carter, Rick Rubin.
