When I bought my Note10 Lite the price was very similar to the A71. I almost bought the A71 but I was more impressed by the pictures taken by the Note10 Lite because I felt like they were closer to flagship quality. I thought it wouldn't hurt to have the S-Pen and the Exynos 9810 because even though it was an older, it was still a flagship processor compared to the midrange SD 730. I am very happy with the performance of the Note10 Lite because it has never stuttered or felt sluggish no matter what I've thrown at it. I don't use the S-Pen very often (probably once every two weeks on average) but it's a very nice feature to have if you edit videos on your phone, enjoy making memes, like to draw or doodle, or just handwrite notes or messages. The camera quality of this phone does not disappoint, my sister was the previous go-to photographer because of her iPhone 7 but even she has conceded that my phone takes better photos. Overall I'd say Samsung is on track with their "lite" flagships and would definitely like to see more progress in this category in future (maybe a Note20 FE like the recently released S20 FE.) The 'Lite' or 'FE' moniker phones give you everything that you need and nothing that you don't.

@@holywater8132 honestly its WAYY faster. The a51 has exynos 9611. Early snapdragon 600 series and the a71 has snapdragon 730. A51 is one of the slower midrangers and the a71 is one of the faster ones.

@@iampriyasingh139 i have the Note 10 lite. Its rear cameras, main & telephoto, have OIS which give better shots in indoor/low light. A 71 cameras don't have OIS. Make your choice.

If I am to choose which phone I'm gonna buy between these two I definitely would go with Note10 Lite for it has a flagship chipset (an older but not a bad one) and just one reason... Because it has an S-Pen which I always used for work and for productivity... PERIOD!

I just get my a71 and it's a great phone. Before this i always had the galaxy s phones s2 s6 and s8. The a71 functions as a premium phone! I love it

Me too.. i had an s7 Edge, s8, s9 and went to the a71 3 days ago and I LOVE IT! Fav phone I've ever owned so far. (I started as an iPhone user years ago, iphone2, 3, 4, and 5) then went to Samsung Galaxy and will NEVER go back to iphones... they SUCK and are always playing catch up to Android. Plus they are overpriced like Starbucks when Dunkin Donuts is the same thing.. COFFEE.. for half the price.

I came to the Samsung store having Note 10 Lite as my potential to buy because of the S pen and positive reviews on cameras but got disappointed when I test out the selfie camera on their display. So I switch to A71 for mid range and pleased with its' cameras, it got better selfie than Note 10 lite. They're almost alike but the difference is the S Pen and the selfie camera. So, I got A71 and I'm happy with the purchase. The battery life is okay too, lasts almost 23 hours with my mid to heavy usage. It's your choice in which phone fits for your needs.👍

The Note 10 Lite is more or less a renamed 1.6 year old Note 9! The Antutu benchmarks are actually very similar on CPU perforance, the GPU drawback on the A71 is the issue for the final Antutu score, but only for those who want to play games with intense graphics, A71 Snapdragon chipset will be more reliable with heavy usage also, the Exynos 9810 is a 1.5 year old chipset that may have a tendency to throttle if it gets to hot, the Snapdragon 730 chip inside the A71 would be a better shout. Of course the A71 and its lack of S-Pen may be the deal breaker..

Thats why it leads to choosing stage, people who uses spen more frequently shud get the note 10 lite, but its true exynos chipset is going to have spiking performance during games when it gets hot, normal daily usage probably wont have any difference, for me I might go for note 10 lite because its features, but I'm using S20 now so i kinda jealous when my friend is using the spen on his note10+, but choices are made so there's nothing much can be done, but as a samsung user for years I recommend getting the Note 10 Lite over the a71

@@leongleong1576 I've never been able to understand the idea behind samsungs business strategy other than it saturating the market with an excess of models. The S10e, S10, S10+ then litterally weeks before the S20-series release it offered the S10 Lite and Note 10 Lite never minding all the Mid Range phones it has introduced, and that only considering the handsets its sell in the UK where I am, I belive it also sells the A30 and A60 in some markets which we don't get in the UK. Of course thats the android markets nature anyways. Huawei, LG, Motorola, Sony, Nokia... There all guilty of it. In my belief the Note 10 Lite and S10 Lite should've never had the same naming structure as the flagship Note 10-Series, similar in the way I think the S10e should've never had an "e" to its name.

Note10Lite user here ! Here are some facts! -The frame is aluminium aswell as the buttons -Even tought the phone is not aproved to be IP68 I dropped mine in the toilet and there is no damage. -I got 345.000 points in antutu ! -The back cover is actually a compound called Glasstic with is a combination of glass and plastic !

Note 10 lite has Super AMOLED with pentil subpixels. A71 has Super AMOLED Plus with RGB subpixels. The hole punch is bigger on A71 because Samsung CAN'T do it smaller on Super AMOLED Plus, atleast not now.

Those 2 device are exceptionally great in their own ways so more likely it's a self preference which one should you purchase, but do consider the price. If you're on a more budget and you only do some casual games, web browsing, and taking pictures I think the galaxy a71 is great. If you have slightly bigger budget you can pick the note 10 lite can give you almost the same but more power in some aspect.

It's still better than any mid-range processor that Samsung puts in their A series. It may be a bit more power hungry processor but it is still more powerful.

How do you identify A71 to Note10 Lite without turning it around and by just the screen facing you given that yhey have the same wallpaper? Simple! Go to Settings => Display => Full Screen Apps then look for the 3 dots on the upper right portion of the screen and tap Advance Settings then it'll bring you to the option to hide camera cutout tap that and the upper portion of the screen will become a black bar bezel and notice the thickness of those two between the two phones and you'll notice that ironically A71 has thinner top bezel than Note10 Lite or even S10 Lite. But needless to say Note10 lite is the more powerful phone because it has a processor of a then flagship phone (S9/S9+/Note9). At one point I even consider Note10 Lite to succeed my Note9 but I was just very lucky enough for Samsung to replace my defective Note9 with multiple repairs with a Galaxy Note10+. I'm happy with it though I would say if I am to pick a phone I would go with Note10 Lite and take the setbacks of it such as absence of wireless/reverse wireless charging (if it means I could retain the 25W fast charging with type C to type C cable and I would get a bigger battery? Okay then), lack of dual firing speakers (if it means that I am gonna have headphone jack again okay then). Lack of QHD+ resolution (if it means I'm gonna have better battery life, go ahead). I mean obviously Note10 Lite can never beat it's bigger sibling Note10+ or even the basic Note10 (how I wish it's the one that they called Lite instead) but atleast its specs is considerably premium than midrange yet lower than actual flagship. It's not so hard to recommend this phone especially from someone who came from the likes of Note5, Note FE or Note8, someone who wants a powerful phone with a stylus (like me) but isn't willing to spend a grand or so for a flagship phone. Overall Note10 Lite (This should've been called Note10 and the real Note10 should've been called Note10e or Note9.5) is a good phone and is never equal to any A series of sorts. Sometimes my a71 will lag pretty bad to the point it restarts itself then freezes on the logo screen making me hard reset to fix it. Happened twice during the couple months I've had it. Anyone else having the same issue?

It's funny how no one reviewing this phone addresses the green tint issue which appears on grey backgrounds and 5-10% brightness. Might not be the reviewers fault, it could be Samsung checking every phone that goes to a reviewer.

Biggest deal breaker is the lack of 1080p60 video recording on the A71, even though it has more than capable cameras and a pretty good chip as well. I still don't know how my cheap ass Mi A2 lite is able to record at 1080p60, yet the nearly 3 times more expensive samsung A71 can't do that

A71! Its so nice it was a hard choice for me as well, dont buy the note 9 its horrible the camera and finger sensor are bad

I should say if you want to have the S pen go for the note 10 lite, if you don't really care about the s pen go for the A71. The Note 9 doesn't get the software updates and doesn't have a 3rd camera which the A71 and note 10 lite does have. The Note 10 lite also have the exact same S pen as the Note 9, so the s pen would perform the same.

I was confuse between a71 and note 10 lite,and my choice is a71 ..im not regret and luv my a71 so much.. Battery life on a71 better than note 10 lite ( my bros using note 10 lite ) some apps load faster on a71 ..camera on note 10 lite is better ..

The Note 10 Lite features a Samsung Exynos 9810, not the 9820.
