If you have not signed up to AdSense before then you will be fine. In fact, you can even sign up now and get verified first (they will send you a letter to your physical address) so that when your channel is monetized, you can simply link it to your verified AdSense account.

Another option is to start a blog and upload a heap of content onto it, You can then apply for Google Adsense, You will then be ready to get monetized from that Adsense account once you are monetized. Having more than one Adsense account is going to get you blocked. I found that out the hard way years ago. Luckily, I managed to close that duplicate account. So have only one account and start a blog first, get accepted on your blog and it is a simple matter of connecting your KZbin account to it. And it was pretty simple from memory. I've been monetized for a couple of years now.

Yeah, I ended up closing all my AdSense accounts as well. But the problem turns out to be unrelated to getting blocked or multiple accounts. The problem was my AdSense account is linked to AdMob. So, when I try to link another service to that account, KZbin, AdSense seems to think AdMob and KZbin are the same type of product, hence, would not link them up. However, getting in contact with AdSense was the hardest part. They wouldn't respond to emails and they do not have Twitter account (not sure about now). So, it made me feel stuck at that time.

To share with you my 2 cents, don't try to learn what tips I offer in my videos. Instead, try and see the changes in my content and thumbnails over the years then learn the process instead. I deliberately left my old horrible videos in my channel to show a journey of my channel's growth.

If your AdSense isn't linked to anything then you have a high chance in reusing it. Mine was linked to AdMob (for mobile app development) and AdSense doesn't like me adding another one

you can always prepare your adsense account beforehand. It took a little over 2 weeks for me to verify AdSense

I actually landed on your last video and from the comment linking to this video, I thought it took a year to get this sorted, either due to other obligations or just KZbin themselves. But glad to hear that you got it sorted out in a week 😃 I knew about only having one adsense account, but I figured it was more so not having multiple separate gmail accounts with adsense connected to them. What I don't understand is that I already have adsense for placing ads on websites, blogs etc from a long while ago and don't want to close that to apply for KZbin monetization when I finally meet the requirements.

I suggest you link KZbin to that AdSense account which you use for blogging. If it works, great, it it doesn't then you'll fall into the same boat as me where I have to create a brand new verified AdSense account just for KZbin.
