I am so glad that your daily meal will be mostly plant based protein because that is the only way to rejuvenate our body to become healthy. I have been a plant based protein eater for 45 years. There was a time when I completely became vegetarian for 10 years as my protein was tofu. I cooked them in different sauces such as spaghetti, soy sauce, pesto & other sauces. You can fried them (once a month) or make tasty soup with them plus shrimp or scallops). I ate tons & tons of vegetable - stir fry, bake, salad or I make vegetable smoothie such as spinach, romain, mixed vegetable. I have not eaten junk food for 40 years from McDonald’s, Wendy & other fast food joints. Rarely ate at restaurants for these reasons: (1) fried, old oil is never thrown away after 6 months. They have to do this as it is very expensive to change cooking oil for one use. Restaurant is business & has to watch their bottom line. I cook my own food from scratch, use organic as much as I can afford. Use one time oil & then thrown away because of oxidation. Old oil is toxin & destroys our cells; (2) don’t know what they are putting in our food; (3) expensive for my budget; & lastly I love to cook. Also, I have been taking Barley Green powder from Aim company together with organic tomatoes, romaine leaves or spinach, bitter melon to control my pre-existing diabetic (it’s in our gene) (so far so good as my sugar is low number, under 80) & apple/orange/naked juice) & blend all of them. By the way u can personalized your own vegetable smoothie what fits or needed by your body. There is no one vegetable smoothie fits all. Another health threat are laptop & cellphone. All electronic devices emit low level of radiation like the microwave. He was slim, played tennis every day as an instructor, eat semi-healthy food (order from organic restaurant & sometimes his wife cooked home- made dinner. My brother died 3 years ago from lung cancer. We were mystified because my brother did not smoke nor drink alcohol. After 2 years my sister-in-law came to a conclusion how my brother got lung cancer from his laptop. Come home from work, ate his dinner & then go to his bed, bringing his laptop & lay down & put his laptop on his chest for 5-6 hours every night for 10-12 years. That is the only logical explanation. There is nowhere to be found of any research done on the harmful effects of electronic devices. Internet companies are too powerful & consumers be damned. I remember reading one article on harmful electronics device of any kind that researchers had done & they came with undetermined result whether they cause cancer or not. I just happened to look & read the fine prints way, way down on this article. Guess what!!! This study was sponsored & spent by the Electronic Consortium. Of course it is an inconclusive result, what else since it was sponsored by electronic companies. LOL!!!!!!

I was plant based for mostly a year and I was low in iron ,protein and vitamin d.I worked so hard to be healthy and I wasnt.I was pretty much on a semi starvation diet each day cause plant based foods are so low in calories.I wish you and your family well.You guys are a sweet family.

Jaqi, I am a 12 year cancer survivor and should not have survived for more than 6 months but here I am after 12 years. I do have a lingering rash from my last chemo of Rituxan about 3 years ago. A friend sent me a link to a video of yours and it got me thinking about finding some way to rid my body of this rash and if I needed to detox from the rituxan. I did a quick search for search for some info on doing a detox for it, but came up empty-handed. I was wondering if you had any good advice on where to find or search for information on detoxing from Rituxan. My husband had a bone marrow biopsy and it looked painful. He has MGUS (Monoclonal gammopathy). This can eventually go into multiple myeloma. He sees an oncologist every 6 months. We hope it never goes into the cancer. I have watched your journey snd it's not one we want to take.
