Well it seems that’s the direction of all electronic devices now a days, throwaway.

@@KTFG easy to repair myself, when you know can work out why it failed and how to repair... It is standard electrical and electronic components to test.. And 1st test is when you 1st arrived, still installed, with power on / as is. Removed without all tests that can be carried out gives you alot less information to start with. I was just itching to do tests myself while watching..

Good video, good job! I have v3f16l right now on my table, a lot of componente and IGBT module have burnt. Kevin, D12 diode almost completely disappeared, can you please tell me the marking code of it?

I do a lot of repair on Vfd and this one IGBT is a common failure in all those.

Not sure, I didn't remove it. I suspect it was due to its small size. I cant imagine this would run a very large motor. It was just given to me for the teardown.
