I’m starting medical school this fall and this video is essentially everything I aspire to. The balance of weight training, jiu jitsu, sports medicine and family life is exactly what I want out of my career. It makes me happy to know that this kind of lifestyle is possible with the right amount of hard work and dedication. Great video!

Man, I wish a career in medicine in the UK was as well compensated as it is in the US. You can afford a Tesla and an Audi. Here, a consultant (attending) can barely afford 1 nice-ish car. It's increasingly difficult to get a property in London and a doctor's salary, when worked out per hour, is basically working-class pay. There's a STARK contrast ;) Maybe if I knew I was going to be rich at the end of my training, I would be looking forward to my career, but I'd be lying if I said I was, sadly.

Do you charge more to do the ultrasound guided shot vs if you did it the old way? In my experience, every time you add a tool, you add to the bill.

ACL is so fascinating to see. The graft being Sutured and anchored to the femur and Tibia is great. Once our Graft shaped in half while pulling it through the medial entry hole. So after the surgeon was thinking what to do. They agreed to salvage from the None Operative Leg.

My ex is working to be a orthopedic surgeon and something I’ve always wonder was would it have been possible to be together through med school? I feel like that would be a no. However, even just studying in the same room is good enough for me. Or just finding little time to spend time together. I’m working to be a food scientist and I’m looking into becoming a flavor chemist! I originally went into food science because it had all the pre-reqs for med school but I actually love food science so I cut my track to med school. I understand the hard work he’s doing and I was going to do whatever needed to be done. But obviously it didn’t work out because of other reasons. But i mean it’s nice to see that he’ll be living a comfortable life.

@@ptbro3334 that’s amazing. I just wouldn’t be able to force myself to do something I don’t enjoy because then I’ll feel trapped and my first instinct when feeling trapped is to run.
