Fun fact: A Norwegian snow kite expedition in Greenland regularly used 100 meter lines on Ozone Chrono foil kites to get to the wind high up to get the power to pull the heavy sleds. They said the had to watch the wind carefully in case it changed to stronger, because it took so long to land the kites.

I love flying long lines, especially the big stunt kite (named "Balance XL", appx 12ft wingspan and 7ft tall) I usually fly with 60 meter lines - but I also have a set of 100m lines. But 225m is just insane!

I 'think' we did over 300m at Middle wallop kite festival about 20 years ago on a Flexifoil Blade. It was mad, the kite took SO long to get across the window.... SO much power in the kitemovement!
