Y'all understand that if the REAL teacher said "nah I don't disclose student names/stories" and all the actors said a name, they would easily be pointed out as the real one. ALL of them made up student names and stories. The real teacher would get into some serious shit if a student, parent, or other faculty member could recognize key identifying details, they know this. First year teachers know this. Some of y'all need to chill out lol

@@SpectreSarah no, you just don't talk about your students that way publically. chances of a kid from her school or maybe a parent watching Kevins channel are quite high. and if one of them sees a teacher from their school in this, chances are quite high it spreads. and then you quickly reach the point where the students know exactly who she was talking about, even without real names. you just don't do it.

@@BeanMacdui honestly, it already bothers me when some colleagues talk in certain ways about students in the break room. but I kind of get it there because sometimes you need to vent. which makes it even more important that it stays within the teaching body. and of course teachers do talk to their spouses. but even there, you generally don't need to name the student. these kids are put in our care. we are responsible for their wellbeing, to the extent that it is in our power. and also, I want troubled stufents to trust me or other teachers enough to talk about issues. and you lose that very quickly if you aren't careful. some schools have very strict rules about that sort of stuff. I'm not trying to cause drama against this teacher, but that was just off imho.

A lot of what she said was controversial as a teacher. She had the demeanor and skills of a teacher, and unfortunately the give away was her ideology which is why I will be home schooling my future kids. Teachers need to go back to the way teachers used to be which includes getting rid of common core. Getting my education degree was a waste of time because they made the system into something I couldn’t become like the role model teachers I had growing up.

@itstaylor4432 common core teaches critical thinking skills, that was a huge step in the right direction for our education system. Yeah when it was first implemented it was kind of a shit show, but that's because everyone who was already a teacher didn't understand it. Teachers nowadays are teaching it fine and it's much more effective and accessible for different learning styles.

Sex education is not about showing kid how to have sex, it’s about telling them how to prevent and to stop sexual abuse. So they say things like no adult can touch you in here and there, and if something like that is going on with you tell us so we can help you. It’s super super important.

Elementary ABSOLUTELY teaches sex Ed. 5th grade at my school. They HAVE to have it in Elementary school because girls start their periods as young as 9yo.

I can attest there are a LOT of teachers with their toes out! Also teachers are not allowed to share the names of their students to anyone for no reason whatsoever. There are child protection laws in place.
