David Spade is just a normal guy. He's cool. My wife saw him at a casino in Vegas and the security guards were yelling at people and pushing people out of the way and David goes dude, come on, I'm not that important.

I love the fact that David can laugh at himself. The biker said he was famous once, Nealon roasts him throughout and Spade just laughs and doesn't ever seem to get offended. Talks about his gf never dating anyone who got a colonoscopy like him. His books are full of these kinds of stories. He seems so unaffected. Cool and funny dude.

It's the situation of being successful for years and years and being used to everyone kissing your ass. Even when your movie bombs, everyone tells you 'its ok, people still love you, they marketed it wrong, your still a huge star!!' Then you turn on the TV to watch the show that got you your fandom and there's a 30 year old shitting on you. I get it. I don't defend it, but I get why he was so mad for so long.

David was running on Olympic Blvd with what I assume was a security guard in the early 2000s. I was waiting for the bus, he stopped and made conversation with me. He was hilarious, and I'm laughing hard then he says "how old are you?" , I reply back "seventeen" and I kid you not he said in the most Davidesque tone "ummmmmmmm not going to go jail, so call me next year" and ran off. Still cracks me up, an honest and stand up guy.

Joking or not, if you don’t have a firearm to protect yourself in the land of firearms... you calling a gun owner paranoid, who was attacked by his own assistant and used it (or the announcement that he had the gun, and would shoot him.) to save his own life paranoid. Your cast was my favorite on SNL. Spade seems really cool. Interesting to hear that whole story with the assistant-Crazy!

FIRST: At the end when Kevin says David's address I lost it LOL!!! SECOND: If I could have a beer with any comic, I think Spade would be it. He's legit everyday funny!

I just found you Kevin, great channel. Lil David is working so hard to keep up with you and it's not fair since Kevin is using a walker.

Another great hike, Kevin. I twisted my ankle a bit, back on that rock, but I'm good. Wish you would have slowed down a little when I shouted, "I'm down! My ankle!" But we're cool. Love hiking with you, Kevin. Much Love...

David is absolutely hilarious. Ran into him on the beach in San Diego after a show of his at the Improv, '93 maybe? I was shocked to see him walk up to me, bayside, and start chatting me up, after I had just seen his show. He hung out for like an hour and a half, kicking his feet around in the water, completely cracking me up. He's had game a looooong time. ( :

I never knew about the whole "attacked by his assistant" story. That's crazy! Thank goodness he survived. Would have been horrible to see "Former SNL Cast Member Murdered By Assistant" headlines.

Chris Farley's book written by his brother is amazing. Based on many interviews with so many friends and family, such a sad cautionary tale because Chris was such a solid lovely guy until he got into the drugs and he didn't realize these "friends" couldn't have cared less about him.

David Spade and Nick Swardson are so unique, but share a lot of positive similarities. They're both just.... absurd. In a good way. They're always having fun and making a joke about everything. No wonder they're such good friends

Kevin's character on Weeds was some of his best work. He honestly made every scene he was in ten times funnier due to his playing off his co-stars; the genital wart episode was funny as fuck and sticks with me so many years later.

I love these. Just wish they were a little longer. I had an idea to do this once. It was originally going to be two comedians drinking coffee, but then Seinfeld beat me to it and the fact that I’m not famous nor a comedian was something I was eventually going to have to address. So then I thought why not have them hiking! I realized the crunching of the gravel would be very distracting and yet you didn’t let that stop you. I tip my 🎩
