Just GORGEOUS!!! Yes, yes - yes you need to do more night scenes.. like with a dark mountain or 3. I absolutely love the colors, the mood, the emotions that I can feel from the distance, the density, the depth - the texture. It all resonates with those who paint that appreciate the darker, deeper shades of life, as well as the beauty of the daytime scenes most paint. Oh and gosh, what about a night scene when it's winter time? I might go paint something up like that, winter evening in the country - or something to that effect. You are inspirational and your enthusiasm is contagious, Kevin. Thank you for your tutorials.

I smiled at your comment about the line around the edge of the moon actually existing. I recall decades ago a story about the Los Angeles River. If you haven't seen the LA River, it is a wide concrete channel that was often empty when I saw it. Back to the story--a teacher took her class on a field trip to view a river in the wild. Many of the children had no idea such a thing existed. Your point about the moon is well taken. Many of us haven't looked at the night sky in months . . . years.

I love this. I'm going to paint this scene on my living room wall. The size of the wall is 3.60m by 2.10m. Its a big wall. But I'll do this. I painted a space scene with a black hole and i loved it but it's too dark and i want something more refreshing. Thank you for this.

WOW ! Didn't know that mixing Blue and Black can make a shade of green .. always thought that only yellow and blue made green. Have you ever considered making a "guide" to achieving different colors from your paints? It would be very helpful to those of us who really need such a guide. I've seen the color charts, but, am a little confused as to how much of what color I should use to achieve the wanted color(s). I appreciate your help.
