Coming back to this songs reminds me of how I use to dream about all the stuff I have now. I know I am not super rich or anything but where I came from I have to stop and show gratitude for what I was able to achieve when all that I have today would feel like fantasy 6-7 years ago For Context When this first came out, I was in a third world country where I was born and raised and dreamt to be able to study abroad and get a job abroad and settle there This year I finished studying and got my big boy engineering job. And this song just gives me chills to think about the things I literally dreamt about and how I have it all now. It’s an amazing feeling that I finally made it :)

I promised 16yr old me I wouldn't be renting like my parents forever. And when i got it this would be the forst song played. 11yrs of hard work and I made it. Noone will be taking my home from me and my kids. Now they can have the forever home I wished I had as a kid. A place that will always be there and never go away, dad will always be here. The neighbours didn't appreciate it too much but I'm sure they understood how happy and proud of myself I was.
