what A day it was for that poor trx4 been thrown in the swamp 5 times had a broken servo went mud bogging and kept getting yanked out of the water by a magnet attached to a string.🤣🤣 it’s a rough life being an rc car. 😔😔

This is the way to use RC's. I love using them as much as I love wrenching. It's a fine balance though, I can't afford to break something every time, but if it was epic fun and cost, say, a new motor for £30, so be it.

You should put on the wheel wells from Traxxas. They come stock on the TRX-4, but not on the TRX-4 Sport (just one of those things they didn’t offer on the Sport version to help keep costs lower). They help a bunch with keeping dirt and mud from slinging up into the cab and getting the electronics dirty and possibly ruining them.

Would have been cool to see you take Andy through that Mud Swamp. Why don’t you ever do like a real life offroading with Andy. He’s a crawler and offroad capable rig it’s built for that stuff. Yes he’s a big old Heavy Land Rover. But I would love to see you take him crawling/mudding in a video. I think you’d get lots of views from it and you’d have lots of fun. I drove my Dads 2003 4WD Toyota Tacoma lifted with Mudslinger type tires that are made for rocks and other stuff up in the mountains. 🤪Took it through some snow in 2WD at first then had to enable 4WD and got out no problem. It’s an awesome little truck with a 4.3 V6. Very capable and pretty fast even on tready tires. He just got New adjustable shocks for it so he’s wanting to lift it up a couple more inches in the front and back of the truck so the tires would stop rubbing on the inner fenders when he turns and stuff. He might put a locker in the rear as well it does good burnouts right now but if he had a locker in the rear then it would be even better burnouts. It’s a beautiful Red little Crewcab truck. He takes really good care of it. He removed the sway bars so it’s more offroad capable which is a lot better yes it leans now you just gotta know what you doing that’s all. It handles great on road with the Knobby tires. He made a back like roll bar thing he hand welded it and everything fits on the bed perfectly like it was made for it. I say Crewcab because it’s got 4 doors and the bed is shrunken a little because of it. He used to have an old V8 Hilux it was a pretty blue it had the Original Toyota everything like the front cases had the original look and the headlights were the OG square lights had the OG manual transmission and everything with the OG Toyota shifter he loved it so much. Had the OG Toyota long Hilux bed with the OG up and down rectangular lights. The only things that were upgraded was the shocks, Tires, and a big Bull Bar front bumper that perfectly lined the front up with the truck. I think it was a 70s or 80s don’t remember. He took it through creeks and rivers and it loved it you could hear that big OG V8 Toyota sound from a mile away. And the startup was incredible I loved the sound and the smell ohhhh such good memories. It was honestly like it could go through anything had so much power. But all in all I guess that’s how those Big V8s were back then. It had even the 4 gear OG manual transfer case. He did Retune it though if I could remember or added something to make it more for Crawling. But His little Red truck is amazing now as well. So I’d personally love to see a video of Andy offroading a little bit. I’ve never really had the chance to ride in a Land Rover before especially an old one like Andy so it would be cool to see how he performs. 😁❤
