Thats what ive been saying.. someone has to make a 1 piece rim & tire thats fully rubber or like longboard wheel material. Theyd have grip, but would also be durable. As well as absorbing shock & bumps far better. They also wouldnt deform like the hollow thin plastic rims he's been using imo

I've run these Vipaz tyres. I've had amazing longevity, at 18 packs one wheel on the first set failed. The 2nd set has 19 or 20 and, while getting thin, are still holding up. The tyres do seem to make the drifting more fluid to me.

Kevin I just have to tell you how much I love and appreciate your channel and content. I haven't had an RC car since I was a teenager when I had my Tamiya Frog. I have been watching you for a few years now and had planned on getting back into the hobby but my life has been a landslide of disappointments and heartbreak over the last 2 years. I'm not sure when I will be able to afford to start back up with the hobby at this point. It's very possible that I may lose my home and have to file for bankruptcy. Due to physical and mental health issues, I've been unable to work for over a year now. My fiance set up another life with another man in another state and left me abruptly. Your videos bring me a great deal of pleasure, and you are an inspiration. Thank you SO much for doing what you do. Thank you for reviewing the tires.. I have been following this guy for a while that developed them. To see them used like this makes it a lot easier to make my decision on buying the car again and the tires... The stock ones just don't last long enough

I built a drifter from the traxxas 4tec 2.0 thing was a beast w/ 3s lipo.... but apparently, to properly run my car, you can't use parking lot asphalt. you need to either use a specific type of flooring, or just more a tar-over... bc the tar evens out the asphalt better. also avoid cracks and "burnouts". but it turns out if you want to drive the RC car on track you are out of luck, as most tracks only allow 2wd, brushed motor setups and some w/ specific tire requirements. so now I have a drifting 4tec 2.0 and no where to run it proper.

I wonder if a solid rubber tire would work on speed runs. Maybe a rubber thats been treated, so its stronger/harger on the inside. And softer on the outside. So it has grip to get going, then the strength to not be ripped off? I just dont know how theyd get about treating circular rubber to have those properties

Thats the tyres you should go for with carbon rims in your 250mph. Use additive for more grip or make them in a softer shore. Solid rubber with carbon or alu rims. Use Loctite 405

2:54 Lidl packing lots are the best for rc cars. They are usually huge and they have good asphalt. Make sure to go when it's not busy otherwise you will have a hard time trying to keep your rc vehicle safe.

this reminds me of the glory days of starting to drift my HPI sprint 2 flux brushless 20 years ago... except ours were PVC plumbing pipe press fittes to the rims with footage pressure XD No smoke though but you could drift forever on a set and make 4 sets of tires for 2 $ XD

Loc-tite makes CA glue applicators that work great for glueing tires either at the bead like on the X-MAXX or full surface to surface. They have a stainless needle tip in three different sized for thin, medium or thick glue. (Crazy glue, CA/cyanoacrylate etc) you can reall get the needle in between the tire and wheel.

Tire prices for rc cars are insanely overpriced imo. Plus with the technology we have now days there is no reason that shouldnt be able to make extremely durable tires. Issue is after a few mms are worn ur truck pretty much will be scrapping the ground badly. They might last a bit longer but if you think because they are hard rubber they have to go trough the whole thing before you replace think again. Around 93mm Of tire diameter its pretty much done. I would still go grp or silver hoons specially when they are on sale

Originel tires are difrence size 100/42 107 /53 , those rubber ones are 4 of the same size? Does it any harm to the diff etc? Also u need 4 front rims then?
