Thanks for putting this video up. Recently picked up some of the multi curve 3+ plates from your site. I like them a lot.

uhmwpe isnt really a cheaper alternative tbh, sometimes its even a lot more expensive, it actually prob does a better job of dissapating energy than kevlar but it just doesnt have the rigidity

After doing looking at a bunch of test between ACH and ECH helmets, Kevlar is better for energetic rounds, while UHMWPE can stop steel core rounds and higher velocity rounds at the cost of higher BFD

Just get a 150 dollar American made Iron Armadillo. They are just as good as any $400+ helmet (you might want to get new straps, but you're still saving a ton of money).

Iron Armadillo is made in China ...

UHMWPE for helmets is far worse than Kevlar, yes it will stop the bullet, but will likely crack your skull. Probably not worth the price difference.

My poly helmet is way thicker and rifle rated . It's kinda heavy but it wasn't cheaper my 3a helmet was 400 bucks my poly level 3 helmet was over a grand

I know exactly where you get your Helmets. They are produced in China by Jiangxi

Unfortunately that's not correct 🙂

@@hudistactical4319So your Helmets aren't Manufactured in China using Global Source Materials to high end specs? Hard Headed Veterans even admits their Helmets are Manufactured in China. As long as they perform, I couldn't care less where they are Produced

@@hudistactical4319Or are they Manufactured in Isreal? I had a Isreali Manufactured Helmet Rabintex Attack ACH-3 Lightweight Ballistic IIIA

this relevent for clothes and vests too right?

soft vest performance is actually better with PE in multi-hit testing. but the difference isn't that much.

@@hudistactical4319 Y IN VESTS PE IS BETER AND IN HELMETS KEVLAR IS BETTER? explain pls
@hudistactical43192 ай бұрын
@@user-nc1ct4mn1g in our own testing (sample size is not huge), PE has better ability to withstand multiple hits (both soft panels and hard plates) we've tried 10+ x 9mm in the same 5x5cm area and never went through, Aramid did after 7hits. Maybe because the type we had was made from thicker threads and the bullets wiggled through them. Also PE is cheaper. In helmets as you can see, these PE helmets crumples for some reason. Aramid helmets deforms very little.
