Aye, Kev Mac...don't know you personally nor do I know OG Nugget but this interview solid until about the 22:06 mark where Nugget said in his book he going to contradict what Monster Kody said about 4800 and mashing the 60's...nowhere in the chapter about 4800 did Monster mention mashing 60's in fact in the book he said a detente existed in 4800... Chapter 9, p. 283 "48 Hours" 1984 The deepest sets were the Hoovers and East Coasts January 1985 due to incidents in the street Module 4800 impacted by set trippin'...Marstien (East Coast) and Vamp (East Coast); Lil Sad (Hoover) Lajoy a/k/a Lil Hoov was killed days before allegedly by East Coast in his 'hood It was at least (18) Hoovers in 4800 and at least (18) East Coasts 4800 ...they went at it in the dayroom p. 289 Monster explained about everybody being told by deputies to go into the communal showers Ray Davis a/k/a Fat Rat from 52 HGC, Kody Scott a/k/a Monster from ETG, and ______ Anderson a/k/a B.T. from East Coast were in cell 10 on Charlie Row 1985 Monster said "By this time I was moving toward that mind-set of unity. I had been living hard and could not expect to continue to do so and live or miss a life term in prison"

this has the potential to be a great channel. It's dope because even though there's already StreetGangs, this is different because you're getting firsthand stories from real life OGs from back in the 60s and 70s. I'm sure with time things will be more polished and all. im looking forward to seeing what this channel turns into. I have absolutely no ties to the gangs SoCal. I'm from NorCal. Bay Area. born and raised. we don't have a gang culture up here. at least not amongst African Americans. we leave that up to the Mexicans. it seems like it skipped us and shot straight to Sacramento. I can't say that there's never been ANY bloods & crips out here because I'm only 29 and don't know what they tried to do before my time. but as far back as I know and from what I know now, there has not been and is not any, bloods and crips in the Bay Area.
