I had to go back and watch this again. You came into my life when your book came out and I first read it in 93 all the way to me being 43yrs old now. And I am grateful to be able to see this interview with Cody. I was sent to a last of the line work program type of school that was for the youth that were kicked out of High school and on probation. I had one book report to do and the book that I had unintentionally picked was “Monster” which was about this mans early life in a California gang which opened my eyes and helped lead me to not follow and join a gang but instead I decided I would be the master of my own life and put God and Family before all things.
