I made a mistake on the swearing in of Nixon in 72, but he did win by a landslide in 72 for a second term. I forgot to add Fort Crenshaw when Barefoot Pookie talked about taking over Dorsey and Crenshaw High Schools. I was informed the killing of the Swamp Boy was actually a Piru that killed him. Misinformation happens in newspapers, but also the confusion could be related to the alliance Piru and Crips had earlier that year. The murder took place before Crips and Piru had conflict. Also, AC Moses book Starting Line Up also states Crips was responsible. So I don’t know who has the right info. Hope you enjoyed.

The killing of track-star Robert Brisco at Locke High School in I believe 1972 or 1973, by one of the baby Crips seem to be forgotten by a lot of people. One of his younger sister’s is Olympian Valerie Brisco-Hooks and one of his younger brother’s is my home-boy B-Rock from Athen’s, whom played varsity football for Locke High. I just wanted to add this little side note in history. 👍But this was another banger from K-Mac videos!!!!

Your work you’ve accomplished is beyond words in any dictionary to describe the true history on facts, testimonies, and foundation of real life and how it all started in the very beginning. I give my own respect to you because I have learned a lot just by watching your documentaries. I’m from BKS or Bakersfield, Ca. 100 and then some showing love bro. I also like how in this video you even added Bakers own big homie Cheyenne Cadena a legend in my city still to this day. Chy, had a Crimey named Richie Rich who was high ranking from BKS who also the moniker “Tupac Amaru”. Who was an Inca Chief in S. Americas. I wish could speak on a lot more but you got to keep these real life bangers on the truth coming in to spread that knowledge to our youth. Hats off to you and your parents and family band whoever stood behind you on this art work of history and knowledge you’ve created. One love Kev Mac. Smiley G BKS

Another well put together piece of educational art. Salute kev Mac. (Side bar: for those who were confused about a lot of facts of the foundation history, I hope this didn’t go over your head because he broke down the whole 72 in order.) firstly, the news didn’t name the crips first involved in the Robert baloo Murder and mix up the name cribs, two weeks prior the paper spoke about crips. Secondly, he breaks down that blood wasn’t birthed yet in 72. & lastly, it explained a lot of the first gang murders like lil kountry, & skip....

Being on the outside looking in, it seems the Crips not only INFLUENCED but changed what was already a existing gang Culture in Los Angeles, into what it eventually evolved into. From the lingo to the aggressiveness. Similar to how hiphop influenced a whole generation and those that came after. It’s as if they forced every already existing gang or crew to step up their banging or get banged on. I don’t even think LAPD had a gang unit before the Crips. Great history video my brother
