oh how the times have changed. couldnt wear an $80 shirt 4 years ago, now kev talkin about buying a maserati.
@AliciaMully3 жыл бұрын
Yeah i think we all don't need $80 shirts unless it's made from material worth $65....until we have built the type of self-generating society we want. It's just wasting resources IMO. FASHION doesn't have to be expensive unless it's expensive to create.....
@KeapYene3 жыл бұрын
See the difference is... we could buy a Maserati, and still have a problem with $80 shirts . It’s about the value baby... One’s a lifetime social inves’ment, the other’s just a sheer fool waste o’money. Finna be wearing my $10 tees and $30 boots cruising the freeway in my wheels. 😎 Who’s asking?
@AliciaMully3 жыл бұрын
@@KeapYene I'm a fan of luxury & style but I know my financial limitations & that's ok. If I ever become a multi millionaire then bet your sweet ass I'd own a high end luxury vehicle....but otherwise, IMO, there are other beautiful & economic cares for normal people.... Maserati's are geared for people with 5 million plus in their bank.. not a couple hundred thousand. Dreaming & fantasy are ok to play around in, but realistically we need to be wiser with our money & fight to live above our means just for clout.

As soon as he said if you go shopping at the mall... I was like “That’s me. That’s me. I already know what he’s about to say... and he said it.” Clearance section you already know.

Yup, your greatest asset is your income. If you let every place stick their hands in your wallet then how do you plan on surviving during an emergency? I'm not letting no corporation on welfare legally mug me of my hard earned dollars. I'd rather toss it out my car window.

I just started renewing my wardrobe like a couple of weeks ago😂 I’ve had my jacket for well over 10-15yrs now. My sis told me I need to throw my coat away because it got holes in it. I told her I’m not throwing my coat away because it is still warm😂 I’m borrowing my sister’s amazon to keep from paying the $12.00 a month😂

I worked with quite a few dudes, in a dirty ass warehouse, that got Jordan's for work. When I asked them if they were ill or something they had no idea what I was talking about. I go to the Goodwill where the rich people dump their clothes. All J Crew and Banana Republic for like $5. I got a brand new pair of Timberlands for $20 2 months ago. I was stoked on that for the whole last 2 months.

I saw some stuff at my old job that I wanted an I found out that it was marked up 176% an I thought it was reasonably priced. That's why the retail stores can clearance an item 90% off. They're still making a profit off of the clearance items.

The first time I drove myself to the mall (I’m from a small town) and I went into one of the stores, I seen a nice looking, simple pair of jeans. It didn’t have a tag on the jeans, nor any jeans around it. So I said “how much is this?” And the guy pointed to a sign next to it (which I didn’t see) and it said $75. That’s when I knew, buying clothes from the mall is something I will never do. I’ll chill in the food court, but a new case for my phone, but I’m not buying any clothes from over there. I am cheap. Those jeans looked no different from the jeans at Bealls.

Tbh your ridiculously cheap if you save money on clothes. Like there the one thing no matter how cheap you are you don’t try to save money on. That said, its perfectly normal to save them forever , especially if you are an adult because you wont be growing out of them. But its definitely better to only by less nice clothes than more cheap clothes .

Lol anyone else 5 for 5 like me? Though I don't watch Netflix anymore cause they were charging me $17 sometimes twice a month. My Mom told me they were going to go up to $20 a month an that was the last straw. Though she had me replace Netflix with Philo that costs $23 a month after tax, which defeats the purpose of me getting rid of Netflix.
