Another awesome video kev! Just a heads up. Only use the diff lock when going forwards or backwards in a straight line. Having the diff lock engaged when turning in a intersection for example can damage the drive axel and the diff lock as the diff locks task is to make both wheels on one axel spin at the same speed, which they won’t be doing when turning

Kev just to to give u heads up for next time when u have a light out I think u will find that the little screws u took out that u fort held the bulb in u don’t need to take them out mate it’s a twist and out it comes and just pull the plug off but good work for 5:30 in the morning 👍🏻🚛

Not on a Scania but same type of holder, leaned that one when I droped the screw in the headlight ....then get told it just twists out, some choise 4 letter works where muttered lol

I drove trucks for 38 years and found the ex Stobart Scania i drove for 18 months was the worst for losing traction in bad weather, even struggled with the midlift up and the diff locked.

Older scanias soo easy to change bulb only had to pull the small grill down undo 2 screws and hole light swong out

Before diff locks and load adjusters the first motor would have been put over drive axle and re-positioned later in day to have half a chance of moving , Spoilt😮

For similar conditions and problem to move we use in Scandinavia sand boxes in front of drive axle from company SLIREJ. My experience is brilliant. I never saw british lorry with them or do you have different system?
