I took a tri-axle coach down a road like that. It was supposed to take me to Tweedbank Railway Station and it did. The only problem was the station and my passengers were on the other side of the railway and there was nowhere to turn. I had to reverse over a mile backwards to get back to the main road.

I used to deliver pallets to places in an 18 tonner, usually lack of information from customers and sending things on pallets that could of been sent by and traffic offices that do not give a monkeys of how difficult the route to a drop is can really amp up your stress. One I had job was nearly 20 miles out of my way, the wrong address, and roads like Kev's last job to deliver something that the postman could of delivered in a padded jiffy bag.

Makes me cringe like fuck watching these videos, but I've driven on these kinds of roads with trucks loads of times, and had plenty of nightmares in the process and some awful situations ! I took a country lane short cut once with a huge 32 Ton skip lorry (RORO) with a container full of scrap metal. I regretted it for miles and some hair raising moments, but managed to get out the other end eventually. When I finally got to the scrap metal yard, the guy in the upstairs office looked down and thought I'd got a skip full of garden waste, as the metal was covered in broken tree branches and leaves from the country lanes I'd been on !! Haha 😂🤣
