Great Band!! Really enjoying their live stuff. But not really into their studio stuff. Maybe I can dig into it more after some time.

That is a little strange... Their studio recordings are not that different from their live stuff, although they really excel as a live band where they add some extra improvisations, as expected.

KAOS needs their own KZbin channel.

Their music is pretty good free jazz but this is the most boring video KEXP has put on this channel. They are four white old dudes from Iceland playing free rock jazz jams. What else do we need to know? Don't answer that. There are a lot of artists, bands and musicians that could use better exposure that have a lot more to say. This is KEXP's Iceland-ophilia gone amok. lol

I disagree. These guys mirror in their personal demeanor something that seems essential about their music. I think it's a lovely meditation on them and their work. Fascinating to learn, for example, that they don't discuss performances afterward, don't critique them. How many bands do that, I wonder? This is well done. A nice little portrait that contextualizes the music. Which seems like all one could ask for.

I don't really see what their nationality, skin color, age or gender have to do with anything. The world exists beyond narrow categorizations and racial/musical stereotypes, that's why there is loads more to know.
