"Your face doesn't matter. You matter." I can't begin to express how much I agree with this. I too am in a band and I refuse to put our faces on our concert posters and have seriously even considered playing behind backlit screens. It's all about the sound, the music, and the experience we create and we have zero biases toward all types of performance as well as any audience member who cares enough to listen. This band is wonderful and I hope others can listen and share in the goodness that they create.

It’s one of their best, most inspirational album I’ve ever heard. Absolutely amazing. I never knew about them till last year. They helped me with my life. I’m Mexican and I never heard of the rock industry they had. I was listening to some of the rock songs when I stumbled across them. The last 20 years has been a true musical renaissance with the access to high quality recording software and musicians just doing what they do with no regard for record companies, labels, executives....whatever the stopping block was that held up amazing musicians in the past is no longer there. Everyone with passion and dedication and produce, mix and master their own album and push it to whoever wants it without having to sell yourself to someone else first. It can't be understated how different the environment for creating and sharing those creations is from what we had in the past. Creative people are insanely lucky to be alive right now.

I kept seeing this KEXP set and for some reason kept passing it up. Man, am I glad I finally decided to click "Play". It's like Yo La Tengo + Explosions in the Sky + Hot Hot Heat. Amazing.

Awesome! KEXP coming through with the goods. Sonic soundscapes on point! I’m getting a bit of Bloc Party meets Mars Volta energy. But still very much unique and their own sound.
