The tragic case of Charles Bradley. Just after he started blowing up, he passed away. If anyone deserved recognition after a sad life, he is up there, along with Van Gogh.

I just like how you can just tell Charles's life has been so hard. Some people wear it on their sleeves. Some have the thousand yard stare. Mr. Bradley sings it like an angel.
@kexp13 жыл бұрын
@jackofalltrades156, the crowd was definitely into his performance. It's just hard to tell because we didn't film their reactions and the audience mic isn't turned up. But it was definitely a full and adoring crowd. He blew everyone away!

He amazes me every time I watch him. Its almost like hes losing his brother all over again every time he performs this track. Its seems he's revisiting that horrible memory and it really comes through. Theres been alot of great people/bands that have come along in music through the years but I feel he is most definitely one of the most authentic things to happen to music since janis joplin. I also think people that appreciate his sound definitely understand the true definition of "good music"

There was a time in my life When it ran so cold Can't find a friend Anywhere at all So my brother said to me Charles gotta stand tall Because life is full of sorrow Heartaches and pain Get it again I woke up this morning My momma she was cryin So I looked out my window Police lights was flashing People was screaming So I ran down to the street My friends grabbed my shoulder And he said these words to me Life is full of sorrow So I have to tell you this Your brother is gone Heartaches and pain Heartaches, heartaches and pain Heartaches and pain Heartaches and pain Heartaches and pain Heartaches and pain

Saw Charles twice in the UK. Brilliant performer. Second time we saw him we were on the guest list. The only thing that bothers me about this performance is that one one of the horn players was out of tune, I think it was the Trumpet player (apologies if I am wrong) different line up to the band I saw in the UK. Their performance was impeccable. RIP Charles x

You would think the trumpeter would realize he is having an off night, and would then pull back a bit... not this guy; he doubles down, and tries to drown out those who are actually on their game.
