I saw Charles perform live shortly before his death. Never heard of him or his music before that day. His concert truly changed my life. His voice, the way he carried himself, and all the love he gave to his music and a total group of strangers truly touched my heart. I've never heard a musician with so much passion in their voice before. After knowing his struggles and his story, I have nothing but an even deeper respect for him as a man.

Charles lived his music. It seems like poverty, pain, losses, and sadness made him want to connect deeply with his music, audience and people in general. I feel joy and connection to human spirit, not money, made this man shine brighter in life and his music made him who he became.

Sometimes when I listen to CB, I picture a time traveler from 1971 coming to the future and instead of seeing the mess we keep getting into and the shit stain we call a culture, he first hears Bradley's music and thinks "oh yeah, still all good, right on schedule". I feel like an Otis Redding type titan made it quietly through the 60s to now, absorbing 50 years more ammo for the blues and then unleashed it in his last years. What a sweet thought. Great music.

I believe that god allowed Charles to go through so many trials and tribulations in this world so that he could truly sing all his songs with so much emotions, and connect with his listeners as he did. He was a man with a heart of gold, and my soul truly connected with his.I found his music by accident a few years ago.and I immediately started looking for everything that I could learn about this beautiful man. My heart has a big hole in it after learning about the passing of Mr.Bradley a few month's ago. It's hard to go through his play list without crying at every song that I hear. But Charles has become a part of my life, and I will continue to listen to his Music indefinitely.... May you forever rest in paradise my sweet friend...❤💔
