Going to see JP and Hellroys on August 25th this year, first timer for live, I cannot wait! JP thanks for your music I love all of it, especially the old time folk music, it reminds me of home. Sometimes people use the term Trad, and I love Trad, but sometimes its misunderstood. You are keeping alive ancient elements of music alive and hats off to everyone who does. Traditional Music is where its always been at. You can't listen to When I Quit Drinking and not feeling Byrds, Gram, Commander Cody, Dead, NRPS, Rowan, Flying Burritos etc etc is fantastic.

Jp is the real deal. I've had the pleasure of seeing him live 3 different times. A real class act and down to earth as all get out

It's been years now, but I went on tour with the tumbleweeds now known as the deslondes and we shared a bill somewhere with jp Harris. Not long after we played another bar somewhere else and they were there. We said hello and asked if they were playing they said no we traveled here to check you guys out. Quite the friendly fellows. I don't play much anymore. Hope the road is still treating you guys well. God bless. Much love from New Orleans.

When JP just by himself talking he’s so mild and to the point! But he is not even trying And he absolutely ooooozes cool!!!! He is unaware of it at all. It’s not a character and you can still see the humbleness in his words but man he is soooooo cool. You got guys like John Cash, Buck Owens, Jimi Hendrix, Gram Parsons, Dwight Yoakam who naturally swag it but don’t even try they are born cool. Yeah well J.P. Harris is up there with those legends when it comes to cool!!!!
