It's hard for me to grasp what Macs done so quickly with his music. I caught him totally randomly up in Calgary where there were more people in bands there then attendees. I had no idea what was going on, yet I was catching the vibe of some of the small shows I had played in SW Florida early 2000's. However, up north it seemed like they were combining the hardcore moves, while taking the piss out of it, they had no idea what I was talking about. Each of those bands put in work, 110% to a few people, sharing the stage. There was something about Mac compared to everyone else though. He just had a focused thing going on that I haven't seen a lot. I noticed this before he played. When he got up, did his thing, killed it, I bought his Rock N Roll Nightclub record. For myself, not so much that I dug the music, I wanted to support the smaller acts at the 2012 MTT Festival. EXTREMELY quickly, he's bigger then some of the headliners ever were or are. My full respect, hard working guy.
