Jacco searched and found an older person who was responsible for this kind of sound when it was totally new in the sixties in The Netherlands. This man learned him to manipulate equipment and sound. This older man was totally surprised that a young man like Jacco knew him and found him. They worked together in harmony and with love for this kinda music. I should call it myself up to date retro in a recognasible own Jacco Gardner sound.If people around the world need more info about him and his band; I live near this sources & influences. And yeah I'm Dutch as well.

That's what producers and recording engineers do for artists. They help musicians build or find their sound, show them new or old toys, bring their songs to life. I believe your comment here comes from somewhere else, I don't care if your are Dutch or martian, the songwriting a instrument performance skills of Gardner are unarguable.

I would have been absolutely overwhelmed hosting a radio show with such a youthful genius as Jacco and his band!! And believe me...I have done college radio interviews with bands passing though my town for 35 years.
@mellotrongirl3 жыл бұрын
I would asked him what his favorite bands are. I bet it would be a lot of obscure psyche and prog from the late 60's.
