The only thing they really have in common is they're both psych bands but Glass Beams definitely dives deeper into that side with a more world music/middle eastern sound while Khruangbin is definitely more soul/Western-esque (Texas vibes for obvious reasons).

Briliant eastern version of a mixture from Can, Neu, Pixies, Galaxie 500 and Mogwai. Pschychedelic funk meets Turkish Anatolian Rock. Masterpiece from India. I really admire the way the drummer incorporates the carillon, especially during the fills. I'm not sure if this is a recognized drumming style, but it's my first encounter with it, and it adds a unique, mysterious atmosphere to the entire song... incredibly creative!
