I discovered Portugal the Man, Alt-J, Deltron 3030, Grimes, Phantogram, Dan Deacon, CHVRCHES and so many more thanks to this station. For ALL of those bands, I like the KEXP performance better than the album version! Adding Sleigh Bells to the list. THAANKS KEXP!!!!!

Those drums. They're all talented and it doesn't work as well with any part missing, but this is one of those cases where the percussion really brings it together. Awesome performance all around.

That is some of the most basic drumming I have ever seen.Nothing wrong with that, usually the sign of a good drummer is not overdoing it but trying to compliment the music. Not a bad drummer by any means but there is not one thing impressive that he is doing. He actually looks lie he is not even enjoying himself. haha. My comment does come across as shitty but I am honestly curious what stands out about the drums?

While I don't really care for this type of electronica with a heavy downbeat, I give them loads of credit for coming up with a lot of cool musical ideas. I may not want to listen to it, but I can certainly appreciate what they're doing. Special kudos to the drummer, who's really locked in - cause of course he has to be. KEXP is still the best.

I believe too, and it's not just the glitter top and the dramatic music. Very talented group and it could be awesome with even more fast paced grinding stuff with stellar female vocals, but also less teenage and maybe more country, rock retro in many forms, with the Derick chords and riffs. The keyboardist and support volcalist and drummer are superior to boot, awesome musicians. Everyone have a great and creative week!
