Saw a show in Boston and he literally said "take any vinyl you want" (for free) and I handed him cash and just said thank you and he signed all of them. One of the most hard working/passionate musicians you'll meet.

John maus is the embodiement of the welsh word "Hiraeth" :a yearning or nostalgia for a place that never existed or will never exist again. Discovered him with the song "copkiller" and cant get enough of this mystery of a man. Thank you for existing and creating, John Maus

It's become almost an obsession. I feel that soon enough I will turn into some type of Howard Hughes character, only instead of locking myself in a room with 3 inch long fingernails and surrounded by Mason jars full of my piss, I'll be listening to that album in my shower with headphones on or while I'm in line at the grocery store. There has got to be a support group for this right?
