So true. A lot of us amateur producers walked so Fred could run. The concept of this performance isn't new by any means, but Fred has it polished in a way that only someone who came at the time he did, could do. The promise of this was sold to a generation of Beta testing bed room producers who gave up, grew up etc before they could put their 10k hours in, with the tools that actually did the job. That takes absolutely nothing away him, but just saying he is standing on the shoulders of many. And it's a beautiful thing.

This is magic, man. I'm not a particularly emotional person, I seldom cry or even shed a tear. But I'm listening to this and I can't help but be moved to tears. There's something in Fred's ability to choose the most evocative vocal samples from real life people, building emotional energy with his music, but leaving enough room for you to fill in the gaps with your own stories. I really have a tough time putting to works the artistry on display here. Thank you so much.

This is first KZbin comment I have ever left on a video but I could not resist. Fred has single-handedly reshaped the culture and the way I personally view music as an art. No cliche boundaries, no rules, no creativity boxes but rather absolutely beautiful way of expressing his uniqueness by being such a diverse artist. As someone who produces the music as a hobby I have had rough patch recently of feeling demotivated and constantly hitting writers block but this is beyond inspirational! Thank you for your hard work and everything you do Mr Frederick. Cheers mate.

For people struggling with social anxiety and depression, music truly has a mystical power for healing and self-soothing. It's treatment for me at this point. This just blew me away. I was so grateful when I came to the comments to see how many others felt the same. My husband and I love Fred Again.. and tiny desk concerts. My husband watched this and was very touched. He insisted I take some time to watch. I totally teared up too. We laid in bed, closed our eyes and listened again together with the lights off. We don't get much peace or time alone together with 2 little kids. This was a magical moment though. Electronic music has never touched our souls quite like this. This tiny desk concert was powerful. Our 3 year old also just adores Fred's music. She dances and sings her little heart out to it during our family dance parties. Thank you Fred for being a light to these parents this year. It takes a lot to be vulnerable and put yourself out there, so happy for your success.
