I watch this once a week minimum. 50 years' worth of playing guitar that, for whatever reason, on this particular day at KEXP, chose to flow out of Stephen in one of (if not THE) most transcendent performances I've ever seen. Something happened in that studio on that day.

Man these guys are freakin talented musicians, To me this is in the "food for the soul" category. Don't need bud,meth, or eanything at all, they send your sober mind off to space, that's how good they are. No. They'll just still do it to Floyd. Floyd is timeless. This is good, but derivative. Floyd will be listened to always, Black Mountain won't.

Saw them at a festival last summer. They were chilling in the crowd right behind me during the set before them. But when they played they blew everyone out of the water particularly with this song.

FriendlyWalker same story when I saw them. The guitar player was drinking with me at the bar. Listening to the opening act. Walking around. Then they got on stage and killed it. My friend handed him a weed vape pen and he hit it like 3 times in a row during a song then busted out a sick guitar solo. I can’t wait to see this band again. I

Have had the pleasure of seeing them live a bunch of times. Happy to report that this same vibe translates - if not better - to the live show. Just such a fantastic piece of music. My all time fav BM song. I play it at parties for anyone that wants to listen constantly.
this song is one long, beautiful guitar solo, and some mighty fine bass work too. I just wish they would produce more work that has this sound.
