Steven Wilson = overthinks EVERYTHING. Just can't get into a vast majority of his stuff because it's ALL OVER THE PLACE. Unfortunate because he's a talented dude. FWIW, have two of Richard's earlier solo works and have just ordered another one. Plan on the getting the 2021 release later this year. It is great, multi-purpose music, ambient and get things done or listen actively and follow along. Black Dahlia off the The Incident, written by Richard, is a favourite.

I saw Genesis perform Suppers Ready at Forest Hills Tennis Stadium in 1982. For 41 years that had been the pinnacle of my concert life. I’m just wondering who’s going to be taking over bass duties this time? Steven is a stickler for getting the cream of players ( maybe someone who played in his solo work band ) and I’m hoping John Wesley will be part of it again because his vocals make them a better live band imo.
