Couldn't agree more. Oftentimes I'll have dozens of tabs open because you can learn and glean information/knowledge from just about anyone, but it always goes back to Richard's videos being the best in terms of actually teaching and helping amateurs. His content really does stand out from the crowd because not only does he explain things, but he doesn't talk a hundred miles a minute. I think a lot of KZbinrs could learn from him actually.

Richard Gene, you have become my favorite channel. Love your information and approach. Learning a lot and can't wait till it warms up up here near Wisconsin a little more. You have a great personality and are great entertainment!! My wife came home and I looked at her and said, " that old man got hair in his ears!!" and couldn't stop laughing! She knew what I was watching!!! Keep it up and God bless you. Thank you.

Most of the crappie were in the 7-9" range except one which was about 12". All I can say is fishing today was Good For Me! Elvis

Mr. Gene, I've only been fishing for Crappie down here (GA) for a few years. My buddy and I just had another 100+ fish day on Lake Allatoona (kept 7 for supper). Every thing I've learned about Crappie fishing, that's not done through a hole in the ice, I've learned from your channel. Thank You and God Bless, Charlie Newman

Hey Richard. I’m from here in North Alabama. I would like to hear your thoughts on how Guntersville lake has changed over the years. I didn’t think it was considered a clear water lake but it seems with the surge of eel grass that the lake is clearer than it used to be. Is the fishing tougher than it used to be because of this and how would you rank Guntersville compared to other places for crappie and bass. I know years ago it was at the top.
