A few months ago I "inherited" 3 change purses from my wife's older relatives from many years ago. In them were barber dimes, a couple of barber halves, several mercs, a couple walkers and benjis, a few Wheaties and one purse had 144 V nickels. Also was an envelope with several 1976 $2 bills and some silver certificates. Made me quite happy!

Fun video Rob. Reminds me of when I was a 13 YO kid… my sister’s boyfriend brought over a huge bin of pennies he had saved for many years for me to look through. I actually pretended to be sick & skipped school the next day to go through them. I found tons of wheats but the best find was a key date 1972 DDO! (The REAL deal die 1, not a lesser known variety). That was 35+ years ago & started my crazy obsession with coins.

My granny hoarded pocket change for 20+ years. Before she cashed them in, i asked to search them. 30 hours of work later, i found dozens of silver coins, a few thousand wheat pennies, and dozens of buffalo nickels. She let me sell them off, and the profit paid for a year of my college textbooks.

These types of hunts are always my favorite. You just have no clue what you might find. It's more of a treasure hunt plus since they've been sitting and not circulated most of the time they are in better condition in my opinion. Glad you hunted these Rob. I do think you should do a video on those foreign coins. I'd be interested at least.

Hi Rob! Love the Granny's jar video. Personally, I'd love for you to do a forign coins video. I have a huge bag full of North and South American coins with some European, African, Middle Eastern and Asian coins mixed in. I did a bunch of research to learn about each coin, I just don't know anything about any valuable errors in forign currency, and some i cant read like the Middle East and Asian coins with symbols all over them. Mabye you could do an educational video on some of these common and strange looking forigns. Thanks for all your hard work and dedication to the channel! See yall Wednesday night.🎉

Sorry that really hurt my feelings a bit.
