Don’t be intimidated by the fact that these bars have three layers. Each layer is easy to make and almost impossible to mess up.
Key lime pie bars are the perfect make-ahead treat to feed a crowd when the temperatures heat up. Just keep them chilled until ready to slice and serve - you don’t even need a fork!
Don’t have key limes? No problem. While the juice from key limes is a bit more floral and aromatic than your average grocery store lime, regular limes will work just as well.
