Very helpful. I encountered similar problem this morning . Watching this video I remembered that 3 days ago I charged my phone in the car using the adaptor. So, it might be the adaptor that was the problem, not your camera. Thanks for the video .

Haha what a coincidence..last week I have installed dash cam and same problem for my Outlander.. if u have not made this video I should have never known

Thanks for the video. I installed a dashcam just yesterday for my 2014 outlander and the error appeared. Mine has the same adaptor but it's installed near the fuse box area. I think I just might have to remove it because it is quite annoying.

just bought a 2011 outlander sport and it does the same thing wonder if it's the tablet radio it has cus it connects to wifi ima try to disconnect it an see

Wow… need to test this, could solve the issue we’ve had for a while now… we just have a USB adapter in the 12v socket.

If you take it to Mitsubishi they will just deny the problem exists. And they don't know how to fix. They know these problems are out there and refused to issue a recall
