Yeah this one was meant to be strange, with reference to The Shining. It's basically like an episode of The Twilight Zone. You do get a hint at the beginning, from the clothes he's wearing & his greased hairstyle, that he doesn't quite fit in today's era.

It also makes you wonder who is Keegan's character, when you see him break the 4th wall. I think Jordan's character is innocently & naively trapped in some kind of immortality or time bubble, while Keegan is part of orchestrating the whole scenario. And makes it even more intriguingly chilling when he turns & looks at you (4th wall).

No need to interpret or figure out what this sketch is about: It's an homage to "The Shining". Period. That's what it is from beginning to end. Room 237. The fade editing from scene to scene. "You've always been here". The way he goes insane eating the breakfast. The final photograph. It's "The Shining"!

Well, it's a homage to the shining, but there's also a key point: he's black and poor (as shown from the style and the cheap suit), and Shining-style he made it from the 1920s (where one like him would never be allowed in a fancy hotel, or experience Continental Breakftast - then a far more luxurius fare than today), to the 2010s, where he acts the same as if has some fancy experience over regular modern "continental breakfast".

I remember when I was a kid and stayed in a hotel for the first time. My mother told me excitedly, “…and we get a free Continental Breakfast!” In my mind, I had visions of a European feast, but when we went to the lobby the first morning, we discovered that the “Continental Breakfast” was just coffee, orange juice, and donuts, and I turned to my mom and said, “what continent is THIS from?”

That's key here too, the guy is like transported from the 1920s (The Shining-style), where "continental breakfast" was a fancy thing for fancy hotels (and a black would never be allowed to even go in, much less experience it), not what it has been translated to in modern times, as plain machine made coffee, donuts and the rest, like you can find in any motel

You gotta look at it in a perspective as if you’ve just time traveled 50+ years like you came from the ‘40s. all the stuff they had spread out “the continental breakfast” would seem genuinely like some sort of exotic feast reserved for vips or something. But at the same time that perspective’s been tempered with the bizarre taken through the lens of tv pop culture’s portrayal of what we interpret a person from this generation 40s think would act like. TV really has warped and changed how we as a society look back on ourselves. That sets us up with the last scene when Key reveals the truth and then looks into the screen, at us the viewer. Are we the spectators? Or through the medium of television, have we become the subject of observation? And it follows along that train of thought, but the absurdity is heightened because such deep introspection is all about a boring and mundane topic “continental breakfast”. That juxtaposition makes this sketch so great.

The two titular characters are in a diner, and Harry tells Sally that men always know if women are faking an orgasm. To prove him wrong, Sally fakes an intense orgasm right there in the diner. There's a certain context you guys might not be getting. It's kind of a parody on and homage to the Twilight Zone and film noir genres. Obviously, the guy is a ghost who haunts the hotel, a bland, modern, corporate chain hotel instead of a romantic old Art Deco hotel or a hotel with a rich history.
