Thank you for your helpful videos. Could you please explain how to read the treadling draft? I understand how to read the threading and tie up. I struggle when looking at the treadling part as to know which direction to read the treadling part of draft.. I get my loom dressed and tied on, and when I sit down to weave I question which direction to begin treadling (or reading the treadling chart) Does that make sense?

Hi Donna! Great question! My understanding is that if no specific notes are provided, you start at the top and read them going down. However, one of my favorite books, the Anne Dixon book, actually tells you to read from the bottom up.
