Ok. Coming from someone who was raised as an Orthodox Jew, non of what I’m reading is correct. My neighborhood had plenty of black Jews and we aren’t “genetically black” or whatever that means. Also jewish people can live in the “burbs” or the city. All of this is very untrue. We are just like anyone else. And the stereotype that we hve never seen a black man before is ridiculous. There is nothing wrong with being black, jewish, gay, etc. it’s different that doesn’t make one group of ethnicity or religious beliefs so insanely different than another

Sometimes they didn't jzst let them starve to death but let them work until they were unable to work anymore and than they got killed. When they arrived in train wagons like over 100 per wagon, they often separated the people that were able to work from old and ill people and children and those went into room that looked like showers but actually were gas rooms in which they tested the effectiveness of different gasses to kill. You saw some mother crouching around their kids in a desperate attempt to save their children. They weren't called ghettos but "Konzentrationslager" or if you translate it literally construction camps. There were only a few heros who tried and also succeeded to hide Jews and they would always risk their life if thwy did this. Ever heard of Schindlers list? Schindler was a German fabric owner who witnessed the first camps (they weren't that "effective" in killing at the beginning) and so he created a plan to save as many people from those camps as possible. He pretended to take them as cheap work force and wrote down their name on a list. But in truth he gave them better places to sleep, food, better clothe and medicine whne they were ill etc. He still had to make them work to keep up the facade but they were able to survive and a lot of people who are descendents from the people who he saved own their lives to him. When the allies won the war, they looked for war criminals they tried to in prison Schindler, but the people he saved (and knew from his plans) stood up for him and said that he wasn't a war criminal but hero to them.

Then there are Black/African Jews, originally from Ethiopia, who also probably date back to biblical times but may have been subject to conversion. I'm not sure which group makes up the majority of Israel's population but I suggest reading more about it if you're interested.

Also Jewish from Long Island and can confirm. The MCs/hype man are generally POC who over the course of their careers doing a lot of these have learned more Hebrew than half of the attendees know lol. Really sweet people. This is an amusing reality that I'm glad Key & Peele did a video on. I'd like to think there's less overt racism in it than characterized here but I think it would be naive to dismiss the idea that the deviation from the homogeneous nature of the community is somewhat played for laughs.

How does saying an entire group of people deserves persecution helpful in any fucking way. Shut the fuck up man.
